10 Million Home Users

December 18, 2009 - Do the ‘Cabbage Patch’ dance in the mall, Playstation have announced that their Home service is now–for lack of a better term, home to 10 million users!

Asking strangers for their A/S/L hasn’t been this popular since the days of AIM chat.

Expect some new changes to come to Home–such as more advertising. Uncharted 2, Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time, and Motorstorm will have new Home game spaces.

“For developers, there’s no better way of driving interest in their titles than giving fans a hands-on, interactive experience based around the game itself. A game space in PlayStation Home ought to be a core element of every studio’s marketing strategy for new titles.”
