Rock Band Exporter Released, Takes 1.52GB to Export All Songs
September 4, 2008 - Harmonix today released the Rock Band exporter for 400 marketplace points. They originally claimed it would take 6 GBs to export all tracks from the first game onto your hard drive to be ready for use in Rock Band 2, but in reality reports place it at only 1.52 GB. You will also be able to delete songs you no longer want to play after the transfer.
Unfortunately, there are 3 songs which you will not be able to export at all. “Paranoid” as made famous by Black Sabbath, “Run to the Hills” as made famous by Iron Maiden, and “Enter Sandman” by Metallica. Color me surprised by the last band not allowing sharing across titles.
